Lisa Shoaf, professor of physical therapy (PT) and director of the PT program at the MurphyÌýDeming College of Health Sciences, traveled to Richmond in January for the Annual VirginiaÌýPhysical Therapy Association Lobby Day at the Virginia General Assembly accompanied by six ofÌýher students in the charter class. They were lobbying on behalf of a bill that would improve patientÌýaccess to PT services.
