¶¶Òõ employees came together for the impactful 2023 DEI & Health Equity Summit. ¶¶Òõ leaders and guest speakers discussed crucial topics shaping our company and opportunities to strengthen our inclusive culture and improve health outcomes for our members.

We continue to commit to DEI in every aspect of our business by fostering a community of learning, understanding and growth, and supporting a culture that values everyone.
Our facilitator-led Authentic Allyship events explore the spectrum of diversity within our workforce and the lived experiences of our employees and communities. ¶¶Òõ hosts a series of panel discussions that includes topics such as health equity, mental health and the impact of social determinants of health on the communities we serve.Ìý
Our voluntary, employee-led Employee Inclusion GroupsÌýprovide professional and leadership development opportunities for women, military veterans, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, multicultural, and intergenerational employees. EIGs are central to our inclusive culture, with more than 22,000 of our team members participating in at least one group.Ìý
¶¶Òõ’s Annual DEI Summit connects leaders from across the company to learn more about business priorities and seek ways to further DEI and health equity within their respective organizations. The summit offers resources to further their strategic engagement with advancing a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace and workforce that remains committed to ensuring access to high-quality, culturally competent healthcare.Ìý
¶¶Òõ employees have opportunities throughout the year to participate in History and Heritage Month observances, including Black History Month, Women’s History Month, AAPI Heritage Month and National Disability Employment Awareness Month. These observances are recognized through programs within ¶¶Òõ’s EIGs, enterprise-wide communications and resource guides.Ìý
¶¶Òõ offers training through various virtual sessions and instructor-led courses where team members engage one another to further their competency development. Training includes courses to unpack the meaning of unconscious biases and review ways to recognize and mitigate them.Ìý
